What do you mean by "they sucked"? did you just not like them (because that's not the stores fault) or did they fall apart once you took them out of the package (in which case would be the stores fault for choosing poor quality)

I mean that I don't like them. They're poor quality and not what I thought I was ordering. I agree that that isn't the stores fault, other than the image being misleading. However, the fact that they haven't responded to my messages requesting information on how to return them is their fault.

I'm curious what the difference between the temperatures that you're using these shields are. Pasadena is relatively cool compared to other places in the country. For example I was considering this shield but I live in Phoenix which is among the hottest places in the country. If someone is having problems with the shield in 90 degree weather I'm certainly going to have a problem when it inches towards 120 degrees.

I visited PriusShop for the first time, went to checkout ... and was surprised to find no options for credit card. Did a search and found this thread, where there is a mention (I think back in October) of an update and being able to accept credit cards, but I'm not given that choice (just check/money order or PayPal). Another poster mentioned Google Checkout but I don't see any option for that either. Is there some secret options page that I can't find?

I believe the PriusShop only accepts PayPal. Hybrid Utopia (www.hybridutopia.com), which is also run by Danny accepts credit cards.

So far I've ordered the heatshield and the floor storage thingy from hybridutopia with zero problems so have no qualms about ordering from them.

I'm still hoping Danny can work something out and start selling the display hood.

I have seen high 90's where I live and I've had no problems with my heat shield. One gripe I do have is that it is freaking huge! I have to get out of the car to roll it up.

... ok.. you all realize that the prius shop only exist because people on here came up with ideas ( fan base ) and we asked to imply it. As we asked for more products, it grows.

as for BT Tech... this is the only place you can buy those parts. I've seen others on ebay that are cheaper products.. for a reason. I've tested BT products, they hold up to abuse extremely well... probably better than your car can take.

i saw a comment on exact mats... that's one of those "group discount" post that went up one day. there may be a better product out there. It's best to google for yourself and shop around.

If anyone here happens to find an awesome products you wish this site sold, write a post and see if we can get group buy status. better yet.. contact danny directly to see.

I know danny is on here a fair amount.. as are others... but getting fussy over a lost email is a poor way to contact. Most companies i've worked with (small indipendents) take a couple days to get a hold of by email or any other post message. People are busy

I am starting to understand your plight... ordered several items 10/17 it's 10/25 and one portion is claimed to have been shipped via ground.. .. POOR customer service in my estimate.
