BTW- I did check the suspension, that is how I know I don't have the touring edition. And I don't have the large rear spoiler. I don't have a detailed list of the base price, options, etc. But I paid $27,799 before sales tax, and $29,545 including sales tax. That's pretty much on target, right? It has the # 5 package, HID headlamps, fog lights, factory mats with rear cargo mat, and aftermarket leather, sans one leather wrapped steering wheel. I think I did okay, comments?
I'm going to take pictures of the car, including the leather, I'll post them here tonight. Will the moderator be okay with my continuing this thread here in the modifications group, or should I move this thread to general discussion? -Bill J.

    Hi Bill,

Yes, the 15" wheels should provide slightly better mpg compared to the 16" wheels that have wider tires. You can certainly purchase 16" wheels and the associated tires later should you choose to.

You will now have to change the vehicle description under your name (that appears in the left column), since you don't have Touring! :p

16" wheels can be put on the standard - my question is since the dismeter is changed, does Toyota recalibrate the odometer on the Touring? I forget but if not corrected the odometer is off one way or another about 4%. About 2MPG high or low if not corrected.

Yeah, I'm happy to have the Prius. I didn't pay for something I didn't get, so all is well.

I think tire size calculators show that the difference in RPMs between the Touring's 195/55/16 and the Standard's 185/65/15 is significantly less than 1%.

But I haven't manually compared the RPM figures supplied by the respective tire manufacturers for the Touring's Bridgestone Turenzas in the 195/55/16 size and the Standard's Goodyear Integrities in the 185/65/15 size.
