Have a quick question about the new SCC1/TOYSC1 sirius option:

I have the factory installed (older version) Sirius in my 2007 prius (with the crappy reception and 10 character cutoff)…..

I just want to be clear on what I would need if I wanted to go with the newer option (SCC1/TOYSC1) with the 16 character display- do I still need both the SCC1 and TOYSC1 if I already have the older factory version of Sirius installed???

    Thanks in advance

Yes. You can reuse the antenna (though you may have to reroute the cable), but nothing else. Technically, I guess, you don't even have to remove the old one if you don't want to, just unplug it from the back of the stereo.

Yes, and the reason is because the connections are different with your factory style unit. The TOYSC1 and SCC1 are designed to be connected together.
