Well if it isn't Lionel Hutz or Troy McClure, then I am not for sure. Looks on the IMDB that Lionel Hutz was the first. Was he the voice of two characters in the episode?

On another note, Moxiequz, you are a fan of Firefly aren't you? I got season one from your recommendation and I am going to start it tonight.

 

Ah. Lionel Hutz definitely was the first recurring character Hartman did but he voiced a one-shot role before that.

I'll leave the question open until tomorrow morning in case there are any lurking Simpsons fanatics out there.

Here's a hint: the role was in the same episode as Hutz's first appearance.

Phil Hartman's first voiceover role in The Simpsons was in the season 2 episode "Bart Gets Hit by a Car". He did the heavenly "recorded" voice Bart hears after being hit and riding the escalator to Heaven.

In 2006 Pluto fell off the list of planets.
It is now classified as a minor planet (AKA dwarf planet).

The statue is of Richard O'Brien who wrote the Rocky Horror Picture Show and played the role of the butler, Riff Raff.


The statue is in downtown Hamilton NZ (the closest city to where I live). The statue collects quite a few appropriately attired visitors. At the other end of the same street is a statue of a farming family, (farmer with kid on shoulders, wife wearing gum boots holding infant, a cow, sheep, and sheep dog).

This city is a study in contrasts.
