    Hi All,
I want to install the "always on backup camera" mod, and have obtained the needed parts from Radio Shack. My problem is that I can't seem to find instructions on how to remove the MFD. In the original article under method 2, there is a link to a PDF for removal of the stereo which isn't working anymore. My Prius ('08 P2) doesn't have the center speaker to remove so I have to take the dash apart. I could probably figure it out but I'd rather have step by step directions. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help!
    Stephen:)

    Try this .pdf

Careful. One slip of the screwdriver and you'll have a big scrape in your plastic. I learned that the hard way. :)

    I hadn't seen Eddie Bell's document before -- nice job! There's
also my backup of the other one you couldn't find, Chris Dragon's
    stereo disassembly guide.

    Thanks All!
Now all I have to do is work up the nerve to do the install on my brand new dash!

I know this is old - but did this work? Anyone else do an always-on backup camera mod?
