I just ordered a prius window shield from hybrid utopia but I was charged on my credit card by priuschat. I was just wondering if they were the same company? Anyone?

To my understanding, they're the same company with one difference; on Hybrid Utopia you can use major credit cards and not just Paypal.

Yep, it's the same company. HybridUtopia is a new accessory shop that is currently in "beta" and eventually will be the same system that drives the PriusChat Shop. I just have a few more tweaks to complete before I do the change-over.

Like it was said above, HybridUtopia can accept all major credit cards, PayPal, PayPal Express Checkout, and Google Checkout. And there are a few products up there that aren't on the PriusChat Shop yet.

Very cool Danny, you do a great job. BTW, which do you guys like better, the weathertech, or regular rain deflectors. I see the weathertech is cheaper but has a different look.

What do you mean by "regular" rain deflectors?

Yep, that's why I ended up ordering from them using my credit card. I didn't feel like waiting 5 days for the money transfer to paypal.
I hope being in "beta" won't affect prompt shipping?

I've ordered from Hybrid Utopia on three occasions and each time the purchase went well. Danny kept me informed on the progress of the orders and I felt very pleased.

Oh, my bad. I think I saw it on another site where I ordered an air-filter. I must have confused it with priuschat. Anyway, it was a slightly more expensive solution but had the traditional rainguard look. It was more square, and the ones on priuschat seem less square, and more of a bubble, or elongated. I'm not sure that's the best explanation, but it's the best I can do. Was just wondering the results people received from different brands, or which brands they tend to think look the best.

I've only seen/used the Weathertech ones, and have been very satisfied with them. The installation on the rear windows is a bit tricky, but they are functional and look good.

Give it to me straight Danny, are the prices on both sites the same? or am I going to have to toggle between the 2 to find the cheaper? I love your product and love to support prius chat. I plan on buying a whole lot more stuff but I am compiling a list first then will buy them all at the same time.
    Thank you

The window shield I ordered was 30 bucks, same as prius shop. Can't say about the other items though.

UPS dropped off the heatshield the other day and I must say this thing is HUGE! Kind of a pain rolling it up in the vehicle but I like the fact that it covers the ENTIRE windshield. Thumbs up!

All products are the same prices, as far as I've seen. Although I haven't been able to find all the products that are on PriusChat there, such as the hood deflector. Like somebody else said, I'm saving up and going to purchase all my goods at one time!

Sorry, BIGDOGG, I didn't see your post earlier. The prices are all the same, and all of the same products should be on HybridUtopia. I'm always looking to add new stuff, so if there's something you want that we don't have up, let me know and I'll get it for you!

We'll pricematch any other automotive accessory website, too!

I guess maybe I never saw the hood deflector on PriusChat, can't find it now. Am I just missing it or searching for the wrong thing? Help! If it's not or never been on there, I imagine that'd be a good thing to add because a lot of people consider this a necessary mod!

Nope, not there. In another thread Danny said he was looking into getting the hood protector. I just purchased mine from Toyota Parts and Accessories, being shipped as we speak.:car:

Is juicedhybrid.com also related to Prius Chat? I've noticed a lot of the same products and photos on the 2 sites. I'm interested in the heat shield, and JH lists the manufacturer as CanvasWorks but Prius Chat does not, even though the pics are the same. Is this the same product?
