    Hi all!
    I have an 08 Prius, Package 2 with backup camera. No Nav or CD changer.
    I already have the Coastal XM OEM Kit, EV mod, and cig. lighter mod installed. So... since I already have Sat. radio... Now I want to fully unlock my MFD. And I mean fully! I want to be able to:

    1. Integrate my iPod Touch for full controls via the MFD and steering wheel. Playlists, the works. Display the album artwork if possible.
    2. Watch video from the iPod Touch on the MFD.
    3. Watch video from a portable DVD player on the MFD.
    4. Do all of this regardless if the car is moving or not.
    5. Be able to run all the wires (ipod, DVD, etc.) to the center console because I can't stand clutter.

    Can anyone suggest a shopping list?

    Thanks!

    Aren't you asking for the CoastalTech Lockpick 3?
    Or didn't that meet your needs?

    I've done all this!
    Here's what you'll need...

    * Ultimate Lockpick3+
    * DICE iPod unit
    * 6' rca cord (the 3-head type w/ audio[red/white] &video)
    * female rca extenders (3 of them - the ULP3+ are not long enough to run back to the center conole)
    * cig lighter splitter (one for your dvd player & one for your cig usb charger adapter [for the ipod])
    * rca splitters (one for each color [turns one female rca plug into two - so you can have your dvd player and ipod plugged in at the same time]
    --From under the head unit, behind the center plastic dome, run your rca cables below the carpet under the driver's feet, up to the center console, then up the inside of the center console and out into the storage space inside. (to achieve this I drilled a small hole on the inside of my center console for the rca connections to feed out for my devices to plug into. There may have been a more OEM way to keep the devices inside there and still connect [with the wires still out of sight]).

    Other than the inside of my center console full of cig lighter splitters, media devices, etc., a new person sitting in my car would never know I could watch dvds, listen to sirius, watch my itunes video podcasts, etc., all on my MFD, all from a few clicks. till I turned one of them on and that person says, "DAMN" :) :)

    I think the MFD would be the perfect spot for a toaster... stomach speaking. :whistle:

    You've got it covered! So it sounds like the iPod cable is long enough on its own to reach the center console, yes? What made you choose Dice over Vias or the add in for the lockpick at Coastal? How's the functionality on the Dice? I've read some threads here that don't sound too good.... Does it show album artwork?

    Yes, the iPod cable is long enough (to reach between the ULP3+ and the center console), but I chose instead to extend the ULP3+ connections back to the console, then split them x2 inside the center console so I could have two devices(iPod & dvd player) plugged in at the same time ready to go.

    I would advise choosing the CoastalTech iPod interface over any others, but they are sold out.
