I voted for yeah, I went once or twice, but it's been a few more times than that, really. All things considered, I hardly consider this blackmail material. I've never caused trouble for the girls, and besides, what they wear is more strictly regulated in Newport News, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach, Va. than it is in Salt Lake City. The dancers in those cities wear bikinis. That's one very good reason I don't go more frequently. If I want to look at women in bikinis that I probably won't be taking home, I can go to any of the beaches around here, and not spend a dime to do so.

I'll go get my mum and my wife for you now, you don't want to be wasting time seeking them out. No secrets here.
Oh and you can tell them about the girl with her tool box if you like. :D

Taking it down boys...here we go.

Went to a "club" in Pattaya Beach when I was in the service.

A dancer came out on stage sans clothing. She was hunched over and wincing a bit. She danced a really weak dance, laid down, thumped her stomach on the stage a couple of times and produced a glass full of eels for the crowd....bleckhhhh

Also saw small birds, fish, turtles, needles, razor blades and money appear on command. One lady could make change that you asked for by amount. That's skill.

Later darts were "shot" by the ladiesat balloons held up by brave souls. One guy got a dart in his arm...with the 65% HIV + rate, the navy crowd sort of went "oooohhhh" all together on that one.

Would I go again? No/ Was it worth seeing once...you. Been there, done that.

Too few good stories (or conventional stories with good humor). So I will offer mine.

When the ship pulls into Puerto Rico on my first cruise, there are two crew van departure times at 1900 and 2100. Since I was studying, I waited until the 2100 departure. (1st clue - the 1900 van was for the married and generally conservative members of the crew that went to the downtown and museum areas....but I did not know this....until about 2200.)

It takes about an hour to get to San Juan. The van heads straight to a place called the Black Angus. Sounds like a nice restuarant. The crew makes a beeline for the door with me being the last one in line. After about three steps past the door a gal comes up to me, grabs my arm and asks "20 and 5 ?". Why is she asking me math questions? After the third time I answer "25" she just walks away from me. That was strange.

Surprisingly, for a resturant, the tables are rather primitive. In fact they are just card tables without any tablecloths. Maybe they bring those with the menus? Meanwhile, a number of the crew are following the waitresses to the kitchen...or at least out of the dining room. One of the crew looks at me and asks: "You really have no clue, do you?"

He was right. Did not get to eat that night....in any fashion.

I went once with a group of friends who go a few times a year. Mostly a "guys night" BYOB and have some laughs type bonding thing. I'm a female and I went 1. I was bored, 2. These men were my best friends for years and invited me 3. I don't have a problem with nudity, BUT 4. I was also intrigued on the social angle of it. What were the men onlookers doing at this sort of establishment, is there really "male bonding" going on while expecting to be aroused? Was it anything like that at all?

I don't drink and yes the drinks/cover was expensive so that was a waste for me. The people there were 98% creepy (this was a full nude strip club in west texas...) And most of the girls werent much to look at (that may be pretty mean to say as I am also a woman and wouldnt want to be judged solely on my looks but that is their business). One girl actually got booed and no one gave her money yet she kept on dancing. That was pretty depressing. One of my good friends got me to receive a "couples lap dance" with him. MAN, I SHOULDN'T HAVE ACCEPTED! He paid for it but ew gross. She was fully nude and while most of the dance was centered around him she clawed me and did somethings as well. But yeah I have 0 interest in seeing a nude woman grind on a friend like that. She did... ugh I can't mention it.

All this being said, I think I would go again?! If it was a good group of friends that think strip clubs are ridiculous and concentrate more on chatting, joking around and drinking than oogling women I'd go. My SO has never been to one and I believe he has been interested in going in the past just to experience it. I don't think he'd get much out of it though. I am an insane jealous person and I think it's only fair that he gets to experience it for himself but I better be there at the same time!

I did not go expecting to be aroused but as a woman, i am open about my sexuality. I believe you love/are attracted to who you happen to love and be attrached to. I believe gender is only a secondary thing to that. So I don't have a problem looking at nude woman, if shes pretty shes pretty! If she is being seductive she is being seductive. I think thats why woman go to these things. Sexy is sexy. And if you are with some loud friends drinking, fun is fun

    Don't blame me.
My warning about the OP being a TRO_ _ was remove by a moderator.

He arrived here on PriusChat at the same time as a whole slew of TRO_ _S, posted a bunch of posts and started several lame threads in rapid order, and hasn't been seen since.

Apparently, using the word TRO_ _ can get your post removed without explanation.

Enjoy the fruits of TRO_ _ labor.

I replied to every one of your "points", you "answered" one of my 8 counter points. And the term "answered" would be a very loose interpretation.

If you don't like me, there's this little thing called the ignore button. :violin:

Oh, I forgot to mention that I'd already crammed a 20 into the disc drive to send your way to help defray the costs. Lend me something metal and pointy to dig it out with?

The part about West Texas says it all. If you went to an upscale club in a big city, the women would be beautiful and the clients better behaved. Strip clubs and "Gentleman's Clubs" are as varied as anything else in life. They run the gamut from sleazy gross to sophisticated elegance, with prices to match.

Well, there are sleazy clubs and there are some pretty nice clubs and most fall somewhere in between. I live in Atlanta where we have plenty of both and it's been several years since I last visited one but our nicest club is a pretty good place to spend an evening if you are still into that sort of thing. Clean, large, and the most important factor, the girls are top-notch.

You have to go in to any of these places with your head on straight and your eyes wide open because their one and only purpose is to get as much of your money as they can. Take in there what you are willing to spend for the night and leave the rest, along with your atm card at home!

Not to mention the beer goggles...

BTW, I didn't particularly like the way this thread was started but I've always liked how the PC folks take something that starts troll-like and turn it into something a little more interesting. :)
