They've never returned our calls, which began at wk 6. We're now in wk 18. We did get the salesman once but he couldn't find any information. You'd think they'd stop telling you they can track it, since they can't give a date or any other information. We put $7k down and have had no information since ordering.

You've been calling since week 6, it's now week 18 and they've never returned one call?

Why are you still with this dealership? At week 7 I'd be calling every other dealership within a 100 mile radius.

AND they've had your $7,000 all this time? Boy, they so saw you coming. They've made interest on your $7,000 for 3 months.

And why did you put such a large deposit down?

Go there and wait until they cut you a check for the full amount.

Then tell them they can kiss your nice person and you're going to put your story and their info all over the internet.

You could buy a Prius in N.Y, N.J, MA, VT, just about anywhere and drive it home.

Widen your search. Of course *now* you will have a longer wait, especially if you insist on a Red Touring #2. If you're willing to take almost anything you might get it faster.

You waited way too long. And you gave them way too much money.

    Get your money back. NOW.

Yeah, I've gotta agree... $7k is a lot for them to hold onto, especially for that length of time. When I bought my 2008 in March, the dealer only required a $500 deposit. Granted, the demand for Prii has jumped significantly since then, but still...

I'd get your cash back NOW, and start working with other dealers in the surrounding area. These guys sound screwy!!
