I am hoping that I will be picking my prius up in a few weeks but I wanted to get together a COMPLETE list of things I should ask the salesman when I pick it up..I have read a few things on here about making sure diffrent things are screwed in etc but I was looking more for.....how the gas bladder works, what the B shift is for, ..... many of these things I know because I have read on here or I know I could most likely find on here but I thought it would be nice if I could see it and have it explained with the car in front of me!! So if you could list anything and EVERYTHING that you think I should ask that would be wonderful! (now to see if the dealership that is selling the car knows as much as I do from not owning one and just reading PC for 2 months haha :D)
    Thanks

There's a pick-up checklist here. I may be picking mine up on Monday so I'll have that with me.

As far as information things, I think you'll get more trustworthy answers by asking here.

    Beckaloulou,
What you have asked is a very tall order. In essence the culmination of all Prius information and knowledge.
Actually, just the reorganization of all the knowledge already contained within PriusChat. Use the search function to look for things. If you don't like the standard search, use the Google search. As you read one thing, you will find reference to something else. Make a note of that and search for it later.

Unfortunately, there is no plug-in like there is in The Matrix where you can download all the information you want. Besides, as many people have realized, no matter what you read, there is no real quantification of the knowledge until you have the Prius in hand with which you can realize the experience

Chances are since you've been reading this forum, you know 200 percent more about the car than your salesman. My salesman drives a Prius and sells them and he only has a basic understanding of the car. Now on sales figures, wait lists, toyota rumors, etc. he's a fountain of information...or BS whichever term you prefer.

B = engine braking. Don't use it unless the battery is full.

No need to use "B" at all except to avoid riding the brakes on a very long downgrade. For example there's probably no place in Indiana that calls for "B".

Not sure where you're located but there are some rather steep hills in southern indiana. Long enough to get car in neutral up to about 70 or 80 mph. Not to say you will need it often but it's nice to know what it is and why it's there.
