My 08 dealer took my order for the 2010. So I guess Im first on the list for a 2010 at the largest dealer in the country. Hope it has better seats so I dont have to move my volvo seats over from my 08.

    I cant wait......

I 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th that ....I was at Piercey Toyota yesterday, a huge, new dealer in Milpitas ... I opened the driver's door on a Corolla, Yaris, Highlander, Scion XB, Matrix, Rav4, ....every one of those cars has a driver's seat with the handle to raise and lower the seat bottom

....then the Prius, no matter what model, base, package #6, Touring, whatever, you will not find a shred of any handle to raise and lower the seat....this cannot happen again on the 2010 model.

Since the 2009 will be carryover, I don't expect to see a 6-way adjustable driver's seat, but the 2010 .... such a simple thing too ... a simple ratcheting mechanism in the seat to raise it and lower. It's scary why they did not include this simple feature in 5 production years so far on a 2nd generation of the car in the US. It's like they're so darn caught up in the technology, they forgot the very simple aspect of making the car more comfortable for the person it matters to most - the owner and driver of the car. A case of the absent minded professor - solving Astrophysics problems, but forgets to tie shoelaces btw, Priuschat folks, get used to hearing this rant.

It is more like you are first on the waiting list. No one is ordering the 2010 yet. I am number two on the list at Burt Toyota in Denver and it cost me 500$ to get on the waiting list

No I placed an order. I had to pick the color and package. It was entered into the computer. I did not have to leave a deposit either.

yeah I know. I'm talking about features. If he said he ordered including the package then he should know what options in the package that he's ordering, right?

Sounds logical to me, I know I would never order anything unless I knew exactly what was included in the package.

A month ago I switched my deposit from a 09 to a 2010 and he said what kind of color do you want and package but to me that is still a deposit or reserve not an order.

What package did you reserve? What does it include? Do you have a complete list of the packages that are being offered on the 2010?

If He didn't sign a PO based on a Price, it's probably a right for a call to come in and negotiate when it's 'invoiced' and enroute to your dealer? Make sense?

The right of refusal they used to say

This is good for the dealer, as he adds another name & Phone number contact to his data base, and you can bet he will get a call when any 2009's start to come in anyway. He might even get a call if any extra 08 is sitting there.

I just hope his deposit paperwork shows it to be refundable if he doesn't want to stay in the 'Q', or doesn't buy from that dealer when the time comes.

I seriously doubt anyone placed an "order" for a 2010 model. If they did, put up the order (redact out personal information of course) so we all can see it. Where are the 2010 colors posted? Packages? Options? Thanks.

There is no 2010 ... in fact there is no 2009 yet, but you can order one. Your salesman gave you a line, and you bit hard.

Where did the people that claimed to have ordered the 2010 go? I'm still waiting for them to give us a list of packages and options that were offered.
