    I got my 2008 Prius with package 2 today. I only waited a week too because someone canceled their order and the dealer offered me the car when I called. Paid MSRP and it came in the color I wanted too! I had them install the "clear bra" and underbody coating because Minnesota salt and snow really eats your car.

    P.S. The SKS rules! I keep thinking I have to turn a key to take it out of the ignition after I park. :D

    Congratulations!

    SKS is definitely the best option on the car, IMO. The only problem is that when you have to drive a different vehicle, you will resent having to deal with an old fashioned key. :D

    Sweet! But when did you last buy aftermarket undercoating? These days it can cause as many problems as it prevents.

    Congratulations on your new car Indigo! The key system is interesting to get used to isn't it? But so much fun! The power button truly amused me as well! What a sweet deal to have such a short wait and only pay msrp! There are many here that envy you I'm sure! Have fun!

    BTW I hope you wiped that stuff off of the bottom of your shoes before you got into your nice new Prius.

    Make sure that the undercoater didn't plug up or displace the A/C evaporator drain tube. Cleaning out all the chassis weep holes would also be prudent.

    Excellant point: Is there a list of of drain holes anywhere? If not is there any recommendation as to where to go to find out where they are?

    I don't know of any list, but I would make sure the AC condensate drain line is clear (as Richard mentioned) and that the weep holes in the doors are clear. Water can get into the doors past the rubber seals at the bottom of the movable glass. Each door will have a least one or two holes or slots so that the water can drain out of the door.

    Further, the cowl drains are located behind the front wheel openings. Gently pour some water into the cowl, one side at a time, and see where the water drains out of the body.

    Thank you guys. Lets see;

    1. A/C drain
    2. Door drains (1 or more per door)
    3. Cowl drains (1 behind each front wheel opening)
    4. There should be some in the door sills too.

    BTW these are good things to check on occasion w or w/o undercoating.

    Anything else anyone can think of to check for blockage after undercoating?
    I don't know may way around the site enough to know if there is a way to have a list somewhere that anyone could add to it. If not I think you could click on the "Quote" and add to it or I can go back and edit this post to add things and put "Addition" in "reason for editing".
