Those are very nice seat covers.
Were they custom made or can they be purchased by anyone?
I think I need them if they are available.

    Thanks.

Yes and yes. Go to www.wetokole.com. You select the pattern, colors, options etc. and they will make them for your Prius. Not cheap, but the quality is worth it.

Great Data! Paul is a true engineer! Last time I bought a car (actually a mini-van) the salesman (trying to talk me out of a white van) tried to tell me there was only 6 degrees in temperature difference between a white car and a black car. I said there's no way I'd ever buy a black one, but ended up with silver (white wasn't available).

Intuitively this would seem obvious. But from a nitpicky scientific view, much is left out. Were these all the same makes and models of cars? Did they all have the same interior colors? Were they all oriented the same direction?

Just caught the club link in someone's signature. White was not my first choice, but it became available in the package I wanted, so we went for it. Now that I have my 2-tone custom leather installed, it looks fabulous and I love it.

This is my second white car, as a teenager had a 1971 Plymouth Valiant "Scamp". Slant-6 motor with the goldish interior of the day. Loved that car almost as much as I do my Prius!

Hi guys, fine thread, may I introduce my white Prius, too?

    Watch my Plug-in trailer. :)

OK, a joke. But if you click the link you can watch some other pics of my white Prius - accompanied by a Citroën
Picasso - not everyone of you might know this one. In Germany you find both cars very seldom with white trim.
That's why I took the pics of the Picasso.

    Snow white Prius and Picasso

    Cheers
    Holger

I'd like to join the SuperWhite Prius Club but I'm afraid it would be like Sam's Club. Oh sure you can join, but just ask when the meetings are and unless you're one of the "Beautiful People", they'll just look at you like you're some kind of nut...

Looks like I've joined this club without knowing it. Since this pic was taken I've added mud flaps and the rear bumper cover . . . and a first coat of wax. This little guy looks great!

Did you get the door guards intalled from a dealership or elsewhere?

This is "Eva," named after the zippy planet-saving, kick-nice person, egg-shaped "girl" robot in the movie WALL-E.

We got her in July--have put about 4000 miles on her so far. Eva has attended about three Prius events so far--one in IL, two in WI. She's got an engine block heater (thanks to Wayne in Chicago) as her main mod.

Our dog, a sensitive sort of hound, definitely prefers to ride in the Prius over other cars.

    Hey Hybridgirl!

I bought all my mods from the PriusChat Store. That's door guards, rear bumper guard, mud flaps and windscreen cover. I installed them myself. (The 24" 3M clear bra and window tint was professionally done, though). I did buy a small roll of Scotch double sticky tape at Home Depot as, it seemed to me, that the lower edges of the rear mud flaps and outer edges of the rear bumper cover could benefit from a little extra stickem.

I do have some pointers for installing the side moldings. (a) the front of the side moldings is 1 1/2 inches lower than the rear (measured from the bottom edge of the doors); (b) I used a chalk "snap line" to mark where the bottom edge of the masking tape should go on the side of the car (you align the top of the side moldings with the bottom edge of the masking tape); and (c) be extra careful to get the plastic off the sticky tape at the "bullet ends" of the moldings. If you take your time, you can install them in 30 minutes or so.
