I just picked up my car with the kit installed. Return trip was ~53 highway miles. Mostly RT 495 North from RT 9 to RT 93 then RT93 North to Salem NH. Seemed like lots of hills, trucks and 65-70MPH to be kept from being road kill. The pack lasted about 40 minutes. The tech also put 10 miles on the car. He did have to disconnect my newly connected EV switch  I'll be checking with Erin about getting it operational.
While on the pack I was at 75MPG. It would go to 99.9 whenever it flattened out. I could also feel the backend weight of the pack. I'll have to evaluate it over time. Since I have a base it maybe worthwile to upgrade the springs.
Now I'll fill up the Gas tank tonight and see how we do. It may be a while until I have more data. My commute in ~11 Mi each way mostly 30-35MPH with a 4 mile section at 50MPH and 4 traffic lights. I need to find out how Jay did that great GPS graph of his route. It's hard to tell how my hills relate to his.
Now to finish working so I can go home and PLUG IT IN :D
    Chris

PS. I also overheard of a customer getting an install at Westboro. I want to check with Erin to see if I can mention them.

Congratulations! Sounds like you have a good commute like me. I cant wait for your results.

I wonder why they disconnected your EV button? Matt did not touch mine as far as I know. It still works and I did not have to reconnect anything. One of these days when I get time I'm going to have to take apart the dash and trace the Hymotion wires to see where they go.

    Congratulations!!
I have a very important question for you or anyone that has theirs.
How in the H@%# did you pass the time the day they were working on it!
I am bouncing off the walls. Mine should be done today, then they keep it overnight to fully charge it and I should be able to pick it up in the morning.
I don't have a standard commute, but I will post some numbers as well when I can:)

When a Hymotion was installed on the local SDG&E fleet car they installed an EV switch.

Jay, go see my comments in your very own thread over on cleanmpg...
Since the Hymotion system includes its own EV-mode lead, an
existing customer EV switch can create confusion. What they
don't apparently realize is that if someone's already got an
EV switch, they probably know how to play it much better than
the Hymotion pack does and should thus defer to the manual one
in those cases. Having the PHEV pack kick it every time you
turn the system on regardless of what you wanted is silly.
    .
Boxer, where was your system installed?

    Wonderful,

I'm thrilled your conversion is completed. Please post any results as you get them and thank you for making me one more closer for my installation.

Jay, I'd be curious to see if your tech didn't connect the hymotion lead or tapped into yours. I agree with Hobbit that if they disconnected mine that there had to be a use for it. On my ride in this morning I was expecting the engine to start normally after ~10 seconds. It didn't, I was able to drive on EV only till I hit my 35+MPH section of travel. I feel it's selection of EV for my ride was good.

Zythryn, I believe that I will be one of the lucky ones and not have to endure the same wait as others. I dropped off the car and got a ride to work. Next day got a ride to pick it up and drive it back.

Hobbit, Westboro Toyota. I saw that last year you were involved with AltWheels. If you need a PHEV to show let me know. I believe Westboro Toyota was a sponsor as well.

One more interesting note from my morning commute. When I arrived at work the MFD showed 63.6 MPG. I figured that it would be 99.9. (The consumption graph showed first 5min at 50 and second 2 at max) I wonder if it was showing the real MPG without the hundrends columns. I'm still waiting on my SCII so I have nothing to see the real MPG. BTW how bad is the MPG bug in the SCII.

Sorry for my ignorance on the matter, but what exactly is a "Hymotion PHEV" what does it do?

If you were to start out in EV mode the scan gauge should normally show no MPG or 9999 as a max MPG. Instead when driving in EV mode the MPG can hover between 1500-3500MPG from what I have seen. The average for the tank so far for the SG is something like 138MPG and my CAN-View is something like 157MPG. We will see how accurate those number are when I fill up.

What was your reservation number and install location?
I'm # 780 and wonder if it will be another year before they get to me. It is supposed to be in the December time frame....we'll see.

Congratulations on your install. Thank you for any info you share.

    Google is a useful tool.

It's a large, add-on, externally-rechargable battery pack. Used to extensively enhance the Prius' electric only capabilities.

I didn't get a valid number. Mine came up as #97 (invalid payment) When I redid it, it was around #200. Mine was initially scheduled mid July then set back to mid august. Good luck with your install. Erin did state they were booked through the end of the year.

Nothing real. I only have 63 miles on this tank. Just got my SGII when I got home last night. I tried a short trip just to get familiar with it. The MFD is showing 73.x MPG.
I didn't change the Engine setup in the SGII until I read the manual better. Plus I'm not working today(no commute). I will probably try to get in a 80-100 mile round trip to my sister's sometime this weekend. It will be some highway though. If I only do commuting it will probably take me until November before I fill up. Two things I have noticed. When I plug in the cord the bright brake light only flashes and then the 30% light is on. By your video it looks like yours is brighter longer. Also on 3 occasions I get a series of double beeps coming from the dash. One was on the 495 onramp and I thought it may be traction/stability control. Then it happened twice last night around 40MPH on a hilly straightaway. Is it possible the L5 is trying to enter EV mode and can't? I have not heard back from Erin on my Technical question inquiries.
    Thanks
    Chris

The double beep is a sign that you are coming out of EV mode.

Thanks Kent. I'm surprised I don't hear it a lot more frequently.
