I'm used to using a stop button on a CD player or changer, but it looks like the equivalent on the Prius is to hit the power buttom PWR on the audio panel or select audio off on the MFD screen.

Or did I miss a stop button somewhere on the MFD screen?

That's the way. Even in my Sony in my other car there is no way to stop a CD but changing source or turning it off.

It is nothing unusual, I would say that is the most common way the radioCDs work.

I used to worry about turning it off so I wouldn't miss any of the music. What I later learned was that the system is smart enough to pause the CD when the bluetooth rings and will pick up where it left off as soon as you hang-up.

Selecting another source also does the same thing....

I just wish that when you turned it off and on it didn't take so long for the cd to begin playing again.

Now that I think about it, that is how my Sony CD/radio player operates in my pickup truck.

    Thanks all.
