You will find a piece of steel with threads on one end and a loop on the other in your tool kit. It screws into the hole when you remove the cover and serves as a tow hook to get the car out of wherever it is you can't drive out of. ;)

There is a special "clear bra" (clear vinyl) that is intended for plastic headlamps. It's thicker than the clear bra vinyl they put over paint and optically clear (clear bra is patterned or pebbled).

I have an M2 machine gun mounted behind my front bumper hole, but normally it's used for the tow ring.

I suspect so, but I didn't get the cool spinners on the wheels that extend and chew up the tires on the bad guy's car.

The M2 was a good choice, except it adds a lot of weight and takes up valuable space under the hood, and the .50 rounds are bulky and heavy.

Now I need something pointed in the other direction for those SUV drivers that insist on riding my tail.

There are some MPG issues with using that thing:

    1) Your MPG will decrease in the near-term if you fire, because the engine has to work harder to overcome the recoil.

    2) However, if you unload a significant amount of ammo, your weight will decrease and your MPG will go up.

So, be careful and fire accordingly!

I had my bumper hole converted so that while driving I can refuel with a tanker truck. I pull up behind them and they extend their fuel filler tube and it connects to my front bumper and in about 30 seconds my tank is full. I save a lot of time that way. This option was only available on special Prius models.
(Please read your owner's booklet people- you will enjoy your car much more when you know all about it.)

Real humans mount a laser cannon behind it.

I pile it up in the hatch area. The biggest problems are the barrel between my legs and the receiver under my seat. They can get pretty warm after a sustained burst, and the barrel position is awkward for pulse and glide.

Wow, your cruising range must be incredible. Did you add a relief tube to avoid those pesky bathroom stops? Do people think your car is leaking antifreeze when you use it?

My prius bumper plug has been modified for a remotely controlled suction cup with 75 feet of 1000 lbs tensil strength kevlar fiber. I just approach a gas guzzler, and launch the suction cup which attaches to a section of vehicle ahead. My MPG has improved immensely with this relatively inexpensive addon.

    Nice mod, Tom.

I do have some questions: When you fire, does the car sway to the left due to the tremendous recoil? :bounce: Or does the VSC cut in and keep you going straight? :ballchain: Of course, you could have installed an offsetting gun, but that would just be "overkill". :nono:

.30 caliber has less recoil & is good enough. The laser cannon's battery takes too much room on the deck.

My headlights are covered with the same VentureShield plastic as the other panels.

    Jim?!?!

You're supposed to tie the laser cannon into the 21 KW Traction battery! There's PLENTY of power there!

    Jeeze!

    No, NO, NO! :mmph:

You use the 18.21 GigaWatt "Mr. Fusion" and attach it to the rear deck lid! :D

Since the fuel is just leftover banana peels, etc., you don't need shielding from the reactor! Push the button, and it just goes *ffftt*? Stop by any garbage dump and load up! No dilithium crystals needed!

Also, you don't void your warranty attempting to get your canon tied in to a 21KW battery that is obviously WAY too large for the hybrid!

That is where my security monkey hides. He is small enough to crawl through the duct work and pop out on would be theifs and does what ever he does to scare them off. I have found little drops of blood in my weathertech mats a few times.

I installed this in-flight refueling mod, but was only able to take on two gallons of fuel due to the fuel bladder/guess gauge situation.
