It sounds like "the boat arrived" and the Prius are headed out to the dealers. CA first and the rest probably at a rate of about 600 mi/day. For grins, I'll head over to the local <small donkey> Toyota dealer on Saturday and see if the ripple as arrived. If not, then weekend after next.

I got an email from a dealer trying to sell me a Prius. They were trying to use the "oh no the gas prices are at record highs." I wrote back and told them I bought a Prius and that gas is $1.45 here, I haven't received a response.

It's 1.38 in Kansas City and dropping fast. Of course we don't have the gas taxes some states do. We prefer potholes and crumbling bridges.

    1.31? that's good stuff

it's still about 1.91 avg here for top tier fuels, and 1.77 for arco's etc

nothing wrong with cheap gas, but honestly if anyone doesn't think the rapid drop is scary..you need to get your head examined

hyperinflation is going to kick in soon, and kick you in the nuts quickly in all aspects in life, not just fuel cost.

you go from 5 dollars a gallon down to nearly a buck..something is wrong..and it wont be pretty soon.
