i thought some conversion shops are offering the springs and shocks upgrade when your get your L5 done, since the part is already exposed ready to be swapped out for only extra $1600. IT will ensure that the extra 200 lbs will be offset with the upgrade.

I know that The Green Car Company in Seattle is offering an upgrade for the shocks and springs. I think it is around $800 to $1,000. This raises the car back up the the proper height over the rear wheels.

Pat's Garage in San Francisco is offering an upgrade also with the Hymotion. Someone posted that their package is about $1,200. I forget what it included.

At Green Car Company most people who do a Hymotion conversion are also getting a ScanGauge II and the rear springs / shocks upgraded. Everyone takes one look at the company vehicle setup and agrees that it is worth it. I have not yet done mine, but I intend to.
