    It's boring with you.

But I mean that in a nice way.

When someone enjoys being bored with you it is a sign of a great kindred spirit.

Awww, how could anyone think about eating something that cute??

Tofurkey was great... we roasted an onion with it, and the onion was just carmelized... yummy!!
    Pie turned out fabulous! :)
I'm stuffed... wonderfully, happily, contentedly STUFFED!

Is it ok to take pictures of baby turkeys like that? I mean, they don't know what a flash is or anything and I think it would scare it.... that's really mean

Oh no, it's ok. Flash photography toughens the little turkey-winkles up for the harsh and cruel life ahead of it.

I saw "bush turkeys" when I was in oz. They're like pigeons. They wander around the parks and cities and suburban areas and make themselves comfortable just about anywhere. Charming critters (and I sincerely mean that).

Did you pick up the recipie for bush turkey? (There's only one)

    1. Boil water.
    2. Add 1 bush turkey
    3. Add 1 large rock
    4. Boil until tender
    5. Remove bush turkey
    6. Eat rock

You know it has been awhile since I've enjoyed some fine boiled rock. Maybe I'll bring that to the family Christmas dinner.

    Stone soup recipe:

    One smooth, clean stone
    Large pot of water
Invite your friends, tell them that they are welcome to bring 'something for the pot'
    Simmer while socializing
Remove stone, rinse, place back in garden
    Enjoy soup with friends

I thought that recipie required a nail instead of a rock.

I think you are right and you leave the nail in if it is for relatives.

we used to lease our wall phone from at&t and every time it broke i had to take the phone to the local shopping mall and get a free replacement. eventually we stopped paying the lease fee and instead bought a touch tone phone, and we worried that the phone cops would come get us, because at the time, we never ordered or paid for touch tone service. the phone worked in touch tone anyway.

we never took any of the lease phones apart to see if we could configure it for the various make-brake ratios of 60/40, 67/33, or 20 pulses per second, sigh

"No self-respecting southerner would make instant grits."

-- Witness in My Cousin Vinny

I like regular grits (15-20 minutes) the best. But I compromised and made quick grits (5-7 minutes). Ate two servings. Hit my G(rits) spot.
