Nokia N96 bleutooth connection wiht prius?

    Nokia N96 bleutooth connection with prius?

    Hey,
    I was wondering if anybody has any experience with connecting the N96 with the prius via bluetooth? I have come as far as detecting the handsfree but it won't connect? any sugestions? Thanx.

    I remember with my Verizon phone having to place a call while trying to pair the phone with the Prius's bluetooth. Even though the handsfree was detected, it wouldn't connect until the call was placed. Not sure if that would help you, but it did the trick for me.

    Ilive in the UK and I have just got the Prius T Spirit which is the top of the range here. I can pair my N96 to the prius but it only stays linked until I switch off. When I switch back on it recognises the phone bunt won't work so I have to delete the phone from the Prius and the pairing on the phone and then go through set up all over again - an absolute pain in the but. I don't know where the fault lies but I will report it to Toyota UK. I do get the same problem from time to time with my TomTom.
