Technically, 3+1 but sure 4 passengers. They never said 4 adults ;).

It'll arrive as a Scion vehicle in North America. The question is when.

    .

    1) Toyota introduced a new city car in Europe.
    2) Sales of GM trucks and SUV's have increased in the US.
How are these two things even remotely connected?

GM sells lots of excellent small cars in Europe under the Chevy, Vauxhall, and Opel names. They are increasing their market share and hold a greater market share in Europe than Toyota.

Yes they do but they have either been in that market a long time, much longer than Toyota or the brands they use have. Our Holdens (Australian GM) sell in the UK under the ages old Vauxhall name.
Toyota just sell under the Toyota and Lexus banner in Europe. Un like the USA which was starved for quality smaller cars, Europe is full of small cars.

I like the looks of the little thing. I just wonder what it would get as a hybrid?

I doubt there'll be space. If anything, only a mild hybrid setup will fit.
