My intent was a slide show usable by the average user. Despite the screen name (which is 15 years old) HTML design isn't my profession (web servers are part of them though).

If there's demand, I can upload the originals to another location, but I've probably incriminated Wayne enough w/ Linda's cheek kiss!

We missed everyone who couldn't attend. Then again, some that could were because some couldn't, so it all worked out for the best.

Toyota kept us well fed and liquored.

How about limo service from the airport, the gourmet food (and meal allowances), three cars (plus the drivetrain model) to look at, the Prius chief engineer cheerfully answering our Qs, very helpful and attentive meeting staff, etc etc.

The three new models were well worth the trip: nice lines, good ergonomics, nice on curves. The new Prius models were pretty good too.

Sorry, no punchbowl. Both evening events had open bar(s), great hors d'oeuvres, etc.

Jay, no matter what you were doing instead, it is hard to imagine that was worth missing this. :D

Yup, it was a sweet trip. More than once, though, I recall thinking, "darn, wish Jayman was here,"... probably as then someone else could be inserting their foot in their mouth whilst under the influence!! :D

I wonder if they would have given him a doggy bag?

Nope, it was *work* that forced me to miss the event. It was also *work* that had me scheduled to be overseas almost two months before I received my invite to attend

To top it off, I picked up an icky GI thing. Much better now, but last night was especially rough

Speaking of doggy bag, here is how I felt on Thursday.

It wasn't as bad as this, however

Well, *almost* as bad, but not quite

I can vouch for that. I was the first one to give him a cheery hello as he came out of his room.

See, the secret is to drink water after every couple of drinks.
Also, I brought Milk Thistle with me... and took LOTS of it while I was in Detroit!

    I didn't have even a hint of a headache Tuesday morning :p

I still haven't found a good clip to illustrate what was coming out my other end. However, as I was resting my forehead on the nice cool porcelin of the bowl, I'm pretty sure I was moaning

    "I don't want to ... i don't want to ... BLEAAAAAAACCCHHHHH!!!"

It's one thing if you're having a good time and as a result, end up resting your forehead on the bowl. But it really sucks to pick up a GI thing. It only lasted around 50 hours, feeling entirely normal now
