I suppose that I should point out here that (at least in CA) it is illegal to have the fogs on without the low beams - exactly what the mod on my site allows you to do.

I have not even looked into keeping the fogs on with the high beams. Never occurred to me. I just checked my 2006 package 6, and sure enough, the fogs go out when you flash the high beams. Cool! Would make the flash lots more obvious if that's what you're after. :)

In the land down under fogs stay on if they are turned on and the car is in ready.
Get an Aussie wiring loom, that should fix it.

Maybe the fog light mod is also somehow causing the fog lights to turn off when the high beams are on. I never checked before the mod if they turned off. I don't want to contort myself under the dash again to find out!

Hello to all that read this post.

I was wondering if anyone ever posted an answer to this question, "How to disable the High Beams turning off the fog lights"?

I read that another post stated that the fog lights still turned off when using the high beams after performing a similar fog light mod process.

I performed this mod on my Santa Fe to be able to keep my fog lights on while using low or high beams. Parking lights have to be on. I don't have an interest in having fog lights on without parking lights. With the Santa Fe, if I recall correctly, I just had to bypass the low beam ground signal and terminate a constant ground source so that I could switch between low and high without the fog lights turning on or off.

Where does the fog light get its ground so that I can terminate a constant ground to override the temporary ground provided by the low beam switch?

    Thanks
