Very good; sensible; head on his shoulders.

Let's see . . . 3 eggs will bring 3 chickens; two hens & one rooster; within six months I'll be selling 24 dozen eggs per day . . .

Well, all I can say is: Have Fun With It!!

    €13,000[thereabouts]for a 2007 Prius with all the bits n bobs!!Excellent!
Do you have to pay any taxes on top of that or is it as simple as buying a used car here in Ireland..turn up,hand over the hard earned...see ya!!

Congratulations on your new Prius! It looks good in the pics and you did well with the mpg for the first drive.

unfortunately i still have to pay 6% tax, so tack on another 1000 dollars or so, but i think istill got a pretty smokin deal for a fully loaded 07 with that low milage.

it was his wife (i guess saying it's his sister is a selling technique, where if the buyer wants to barter with him he can act like he's calling his sister and then say she said no? anyway...) but they have a 3 year old and another on the way.

i have no idea why having a second kid means they need a bigger car but i wasn't about to try and convince them to keep it.

edit: there should be a way to lock yourself out of the accessory shop. i havent had the car for a day yet and already i want to order a hitch, EV button, and the MFD hood. must....let....wallet.....recover.....

forgot to add... when i piccked up the car, i drove about a half mile and noticed that the last pip was flashing. recalling all the horror stories i'd heard i instantly tried to teach myself the pulse and glide as well as tried my best to coast to stops/ pull away extremely gradually. made it to the gas station, and for the drive home (46 of the 48 miles, the gas station was closer than i thought so i really didn't have to worry) i drove home with the nav screen on. I wonder if i have the consumption screen up i'll do better or worse than if i'm just driving without really thinking about mpg.

Don't forget the pipe insulation, Scangauge, and VentureShield plastic (if the paint still looks new).
