i'm considering the Yokohama Avid TRZ i a 195 /60.15 , has your mileage been affected with this tire size , and if so how much ?

How are the TRZ's with MPG? I'm thinking of going with TRZ in the stock size 185 65 15.

I lost about 1 to 2 mpg, but well worth it for the good ride and stability using Toyota recommended pressures. When I bought mine, they were not available in the 185 65 15 size. Things may have changed.

I got mine at a local privately owned tire shop, at a pretty good price.

Great to know you didn't lose to much on MPG even though you went with the 195 60 15 tire size.

I think those are what the previous owner put on mine but honestly I'm not 100% sure. They're practically new. I'll double check the exact model tomorrow and let you know...as i'm in the Northeast and I doubt he would have put something that isn't halfway decent in some inclement weather. Its definitely Yokohama (which has a fantastic reputation).

I just got my Prius yesterday, so I'm still learning how best to drive it around town. So far I'm getting around 38mpg, but the peeps at the dealership kept the PSI at 25...not anywhere near the 40 max. I just put it to about 38 or so this afternoon.
