I just got a used 2006 prius and it has condensation inside the light. Has anyone else had this problem? What would be the fix or solution to my problem.
    Thanks,
    Boppo:)

Do you have the HID lights? If so, it may be the large cap on the rear not seated properly. There is an o-ring and it fits very tightly. If someone replaced the bulb, they may not have gotten it back on right. Another possibility is a crack somewhere in the lens or the housing.

Thanks for your reply, I do not have HID lights, so should I take the whole light assembly out to get the condensation out. Anyone have some ideas what to do.

I have done this. No need to remove it, just take the light bulb out, use an air compressor and stake the hose with an air jet nozzle into the light housing and let it it blow. You can direct the jet to where the moisture is. It will take 15-30 minutes to get alll the moisture out.

Also check for cracks on the lens, fix it with epoxy.

    thank, I will try that.

bedrock8x, this morning I took the bulb out and shot my air compressor in the hole for about 45 minuts, then took a ride with the lights on. That took care of it, I checked for cracks but didn't find any. I think when the detailed it at the dealer they sprayed the motor compartment and got condensation in there.
    thanks,
