I think the media embargo is a great marketing tool, how many people have told us they can't tell us? How much do those of us who don't know want to know?
It's a great marketing trick to tell a potential buyer they can't have it right now, they aren't qualified to have it. They will want it even more.

Danny, I want to congratulate you for keeping this site the powerhouse that it has become. Toyota's decision to invite you on this event, is far from accidental.
    Enjoy your ride!

    Moonroof Question.

Does the moonroof have a retractable sunshade? Seems like the solar powered ventilation system might not be able to keep up with the heat gain from the glass moonroof on a very sunny South Florida day.

I have every hope that it will help in AZ.

Yes, there is a retractable sunshade. I didn't test whether it opened with the moonroof itself.

The Glare on the MFD Screen. Is it better in the new position.??
    The seat height adjustment?
    Thanks[/quote]

The glare on the MFD screen was just as apparent unfortunately when I sat down in a vehicle in the sun, and only gets worse with tons of finger oils. I think it's the dull coating on the screen that amplifies it as it scatters light within the touch-sensitive layer. Can't say yet whether it's impacting or not while driving ;)

Height adjustment at a stand still is great, and for the cars on stage, it seemed to improve visibility. I'll let you know next week whether or not it improves while driving ;)

Some of the Toyota navs do have a tilt function. I didn't check to see if the Prius had a tilt function for the screen. That may or may not help with glare.

The NAV screen is articulating for access to the CD changer and NAV DVD, however it didn't seem to tilt for me. Would be nice if this were the case though!

I guess I could look back at the pics and see if there was a tilt button lol. Silly me.

No dice. It's fixed and has no TILT function.
