    Hi everyone,

I have been lurking for a couple of weeks, once I decided to get a Prius. I just picked up my 2009 pk 3 today. So far so good, drove about 40 miles today. I will be putting close to 200 on tomorrow. I would have driven more today but I had to install my Sirius, priorities!! Can't drive without tunes afterall. This is a great site, I have already learned a lot on here.

Congrats! I've had mine for over two years and still get a thrill every time I drive my "little red happy pill". May you have many happy drives too!

Welcome to the site...make sure your tires are 42psi front/40psi back....and have fun...
once you get it warmed up...try driving from 38-41mph and see if you can get into "warp stealth" and watch your mileage go up....

I use warp-stealth as much as possible. I typically get 56-58mpg.

I must tell you, I was on cloud-9 for a month when I bought mine.

I took myself and three other guys down from Dover, NH to Burlington, MA for a conference with one our resellers...Car averaged about 46MPG on the highway...the guys were very comfortable in the back. Not really a surprise around here, but thought it was worth mentioning.

I too put the Sirius in yesterday and its great to have it work well with the stock OEM head unit. You get the SCC1 and TOYSC1 combo?

What is the warp-stealth? Do I have this on my 2006? I hope it works better than os2-warp. :)

Thanks for the warm welcome guys. I have no idea what stealth warp is, but it sounds like something I would like.

As far as the Sirius, I have the Stilletto 2, so I don't know if that applies. I love my radio as I can take it with me and use it as an MP3. I pretty much listen to 2 stations, so I don't really switch often.

I didn't go as far as I though today, only 100 miles. So far so good. I'll post some pics over the weekend.

Stealth Mode is what I think I found a few days ago. Right around 37-42MPH, you can kind of glide a bit and VERY carefully put pressure on the gas pedal. The car kind of coasts in electric mode at about 80-99mpg...and you can hold that steady pretty much as long as you want on a relatively flat run of road...and as long as traffic allows! :) That's my take on it...

Welcome Jhev1 - enjoy the car and the forums! You can learn many things on this site including "warp stealth". It is essentially operating in electric only mode.
