Its the same thing coastal sells. If you really want that product buy it here Electric Only Mode its cheaper. Dont believe anything you read on juicedhybrid.com as the description of the EV mode is stretched. The guy even stole the image of his product from coastal.

You can also make your own EV button for a few dollars or buy the official button from Sigma Automotive – Toyota Hybrid Prius 2004 - 2009 OEM & JDM auto accessories

The EV mode button can increase your MPG but only in certain situations. If you dont know when you use it or abuse the use you will decrease your MPG and could hurt the battery.

The JDM and European Prius have factory-fitted EV mode. The software is included in the North America car but the button and indicator light are not present. I'm guessing they didn't think they could sneak it by the NHTSA. (North America has self-certification but can be challenged.) The fact that it's there is simply that the software designer didn't specifically take it out, it wasn't an intended feature. As such the speed limit wasn't tuned for North America: the 2010 factory-fit EV mode is limited to 25mph in the US.

The UK EV mode speed limit in the 2G Prius is 29mph. The button is to the left of the steering column.

Basically, you can connect up any switch to contact the terminals that enable EV mode. The Cruise Control switch is handy because it doesn't normally do anything below 30mph.

EV mode is a bit overhyped. You waste a certain amount of energy in discharging and charging the battery; the car is very aggressive at recharging back to 6 bars and can waste a lot of fuel to do so. EV mode is useful for very short 'trips', like moving your car in a car park, without the engine coming on (normally the engine starts 12 seconds after entering READY if it hasn't already had to start due to power or heat demand).

A lot of the 'beat the chief' participants were using EV mode to make short-term boosts of their MPG numbers, but you have to think of driving electric-only as being like an overdraft. Anything below six bars is borrowed money that you have to pay back with interest. Anything over six bars is a little bit of credit that you can use, but doesn't last very long.

I got it basically the same thing as I have read about, I ran across it today and though it might be different. My car is constantly charging (live in a hilly area) so I do not need anything else to kick my btry's butt.
    Thanks
