Just to have some fun, make sure you stock up first on toilet paper. Then tell all the idgits "hey, it's 23 outside!"

Sit back, relax, and chuckle at the ensuing mad panic

The difference being I try to moderate my intake. I should have phrased it:

    "I need a (nother) drink!"

Careful, my thick muscular neck is pulsating in a very alarming manner

Wait a minute .... that's a warning sign of impending liver failure, isn't it?

    Sonova ....

Today's forecast calls for an afternoon high of 294 degrees Kelvin. Makes me feel warmer already.

Which is 529° Rankine for those of you wanting to use a *real* temperature scale.

Milk Thistle. How do you think I stayed so chipper in Detroit? :p
You can get it at any health food store. Heck, you can probably get it in the herbs section at walmart (I hate WM). Take several capsules every time you have a drink (are you listening, Jayman?).

It is Spring, I know it because of all the Yard/Garage sales!

I'm on higher ground, no worries here. They are planning on opening the floodway gates sometime this week, despite the ice that is still around.

Just to play it safe, I've equipped my Pet Taxi carrier with little floats, so my cats won't drown. I have an emergency floater suit tethered to the bed. I figure the bed will float long enough to allow me to slip into the floater suit and turn on the emergency beacon

I joke about it, but seriously, my Army boozing days are long behind me. A bottle of gin easily lasts a month, sometimes 6 weeks

Still, it's nice to know that the option exists. Think of it as virtual heavy drinking.

spring down here means lots and lots of pollen, too. my computer is covered with a fine layer of it. ugh.

spring also means being trapped inside quantifying images and working up Wth it all means, but wanting to go outside and enjoy the day instead.

No, that's not much fun, is it, galaxee? I'm trapped inside, too - I get to do income taxes every day for as many hours as I can stay conscious. Thankfully today's warm enough to open the windows for some air, and I haven't heard any complaints from the neighbours about the music. The phone has lights on it, so at least I can see it ringing. :)

... when the white stuff falling from the sky is blooms from the Bradford Pear trees instead of snow (and you can't stop sneezing, not from cold/flu but from 'hay fever')
