What color are you getting?

I know what you mean - I'm stuck between Abyss Grey and Vermillion Red (which are the UK equivalents of the colours you've chosen)

Hoping to get a T Spirit, depending on what price the dealer will offer.

Not the solar panel'ed one . . . we chose the one loaded with tons of goodies in stead. Surprisingly, the Gold doesn't seem to be nearly as much as a 'gotta have it' as I'd have thought. But yea, as soon as I saw it it Detroit this January, I knew that was the color for us.

 

Winebuff: I ordered from Kendall Toyota In Eugene on 2/15 with a $500 deposit. I knew more about models, options, etc. than dealer because of Priuschat. Wouldn't tell me where I was on his list, but said maybe June, but probably July. Cardinalred

haven't ordered yet, but i plan on getting the red or the darker blue color (blue preferably). NO SILVER OR DESERT SAND MICA THOUGH! I will rather wait than buy a car with that color. (for the record my parents both have silver cars, and so does my brother, and I currently drive a DS Mica 2k Avalon, and just seen way too many of that colored cars on the road)

(and i don't know the exact color names, but you get the idea)

 

I seem to remember seeing a two tone seat in some of the initial pictures that came out of the auto shows for the 2010 prius. It looked very sharp. Is it an option with the car and if so, is it limited to certain exterior colors? *Edit* I found this picture on HTML's spinners albums (thank you Google). I like the light seats contrasting with the darker console. Is this Winter Grey Leather Interior? If so, I'll take any color that will allow me this color combo.

 

I saw that too, and loved it. I think that it was only available on the European models. However, I may take that picture to a local shop, and ask them to touch up mine (once I get my 2010) with a splash of a second color for a similar look. I liked it!

 

Silver. Don't know why but long ago I decided my next car would be silver. Eyeing the IV with solar moon roof. Wish they wold hurry up and get here

 

This is a photo from the LA auto show (I think), so I'm assuming it isn't a European only option. The seats are two tone, but it looks very subtle. What looks really nice is that the seats match the lighter color of the console, and with the darker console, it looks absolutely great. In another picture, I mistook the dark cover of the arm rest as part of the seat and it looked even better! <I thought the thigh support area was a darker grey>

 

Thanks all! Has there been any announcement on what exterior colors go with the interior colors? As an example, in the 2008/9 models, if you got Spectra Mica Blue, you couldn't get Bisque interior (only dark grey).

In other words, are there any exterior colors that get "disqualified" with the Misty Grey interior?

 

Why doesn't Toyota give you a option of no color and just a primed shell so it would make custom paint jobs easier? Color choices for US models sucks imo.

 

Other than the PDF that was passed around for the Prius Priority member where I am basing my order on, as there been any official announcement of the interior colors that will be offered with each of the 'official' paint colors? Or are we all just assuming that those color selections will be extended into the production lineup as well?

I'll get pearl white base model IF I buy. I'd love to but all depends on price and finances. I'm looking forward to a test drive, I'm hanging for Toyota to email me to go for a pre-release drive. This may require driving across the country to drive the new car.
