I am just curious why the scan gauge is not reading four 9s in MPG when it reads 0 RPM such as coasting or only driving on the battery. It does read 4 digits such as 2700MPG, 0 RPM but not 4-9s.
The only way I can get 4 9s is using the B mode on slowing down.

This is becuase if you scroll throught and find the GPH reading you will notice it will display 0.01GPH(gallons per hour) being used when the engine is off and the speed is below 41MPH. HOWEVER, if you get up to say 45MPH and let off it will display 9999MPG. It has something to do with how the Scan Gauge interprets whats going on when the engine is off. This topic has been discussed quite a few times over on CleanMPG. Hope this helps you out! :)
