    Great, just great.

It starts at 7:30 EDT and 4:30 PDT but apparently doesn't start at all in CST.

I got here too late for my comment/question to be asked... but it was great reading through the chat transcript! :)
Doug and the Prius Team are certainly a very class act! Thank you for all the information you provide.

My question was left unanswered, hope to see it somewhere for the Prius Team to replay to.

    Here is my question:

The original plan with the solar panels was to have them charge the battery, right? The problem was it emitted electrical noise. Is there any improvement to this? Will we see this in the future?

    Thank you,

Thanks for that Danny and Doug. I didn't ask this because it's not a question, but:

On packaging: The one thing available on the 2010 Prius that appeals to me is the radar cruise control and lane-keeping assist. But I won't buy leather. And I don't want the other high-end options like NAV.

I'd encourage Toyota to offer a "safety package" which would have all the safety-related options and no others. That's essentially what my 2004 Package 6 was, though I had to accept HID headlights, which I didn't want (to me it's not a safety feature to blind on-coming drivers) and SKS, which I didn't want but was immediately delighted with.

I had a few questions that weren't answered in the chat...

I noticed that the level III and higher include a JBL stereo with 6-disc CD changer, satellite radio & bluetooth; however, the navigation package also includes the JBL stereo, but with a 4-disc CD changer, satellite radio and bluetooth, in addition to the nav and back up camera. If the nav package is only offered on III or higher levels, why would the nav package include stereo and bluetooth? If you already have a 6-disc CD changer and bluetooth, why pay $1800 more for a 4-disc CD changer and bluetooth? Why not just make the nav package about nav and the back up camera be standard? Do I really have to pay $1800 just to get navigation and then downgrade my CD changer?

Also, I noticed that you cannot get the solar roof package and the advanced technology package. Why? I really wanted to get both packages, but they are not available together. My whole purpose of getting a 2010 is because of all of the new features, such as a solar roof and the advanced technolog, but now I can only get one or the other. Why did Toyota decide to go that route? Why not offer a package with everything?
