    Anyone have or know where to find a real world picture of a black 2010 prius? i've been looking all over but can't find a black one outside of the photoshopped mock up released way back when.

    I've mentioned this on another thread, there aren'y many good hi-res pics of a 2010 in black at all. Hopefully when the first owners start getting their cars in different colour combinations we will start to see them appear. There are ALOT of black and silver gen 2's here in London and I'm sure that will continue with the 2010.

    Definitely don't see many black Prius here in Vancouver. I'd love to see more pics of the black 2010 too, as that's what I've got on order! All I have is this pic, submitted already on PriusChat...

    yeah black doesn't look so hot on this version of the car think i'm going to go with the blue ribbon metallic.

    Yes, there was a report here in the UKa few years ago that the 3 best colours for re-sale value were silver with grey and black very close behind. Since then something like 75% of new cars are silver, grey or black. It's really boring! White is beginning to make a break-thru - it will be interesting how many white 2010's we end up with as in the UK pure white is the only no-cost colour, and Pearl White (a.k.a. blizzard pearl) will also be available at extra cost. It wouldn't surprise me if all the test cars for media are in Pearl White as they were for the iQ. The rarest colours here will almost certainly be the red and blue.

    Thanks for the pics Tideland! The Blue Ribbon does look really great in person and I'm definitely tempted... But I'm just hoping my Black one will look just as good once I get the windows tinted out.
    Wooski, I didn't know Black was up there on the resale value, good to know!

    Blue Ribbon does look a lot better on the new Prius than on the Camry.

    Be careful now. What works in the UK may not be the same in Canada or the U.S.. I mean silver seems to be generally accepted worldwide but white and black are culture and country specific. Look up dupoint colour and see if you're able to find a list of popular colours for 2008.

    Well the iQ only comes in pearl white, black and something similar to Black Cherry Pearl. I know there are more colours but only 3 to start IIRC. We have had a silver car since our 2002 Camry. I didn't want silver for the Prius so we took Tideland Pearl (Sileni Green Pearl) and it turns out it was replaced the following year with Silver Pine Mica (Verbier Green)

    Black with 17's looks really good. Tint the windows and replace the blue hood badge, and I think I'm sold. Replacing the blue hood badge is the first mod I want to make.

    I keep hearing black cars get lower mpg's in the summer because they are harder to keep cool and the ac is less efficient. It could just be just negligable

    I always switch back and forth... I had an 01 Camaro SS black, then went pearl white 03 acura, then black on the 06 prius and now back to a pearl white for the 2010... Either way I dont think you'd go wrong! :) Both colors look great on the 2010 imo...
