Tail light assembly 2006 vs 2005

    Can anyone tell me if a 2006 rear tail light assembly will work for a 2005? On-line parts distributors don't offer a 2005. Thanks in advance!

    the are the same thing... they stopped making the 04 and 05 style (blacked out brake lights) and replaced them with the new model.. which is all silver.. no black.

    The 06-09 tail light assembly will work.

    But if you want the 04-05 tail light assembly with the blacked out tops, the on-line parts distributors DO still sell them. For instance:
