Pet food is quite nutritious, and certainly not poisonous. I bet you could serve some of the kitty gourmet stuff as pate, and nobody would know. :)

I fed some canned dog food to my little brother once, and he liked it.

Sometimes it's the only source of protein poor seniors can afford.

It's an obvious glitch. Of course the number is supposed to be 100,042.

Actually, it's 39. That's how many are listed when you click on 'view all posts by Priapus' in his user profile.

What's the appropriate punishment for such a blatant abuse of power? He's a nice guy most of the time - I wouldn't want to see him banned outright, and a spanking would only encourage him.

Should the post totals of Priapus and Tony be reduced to zero?

Ooops! I was going to do something special for my 10,000th post. Like maybe say "This is my 10,000th post!" Oh, well, another opportunity missed.

There really isn't that much difference between cat food and food for humans, except that the FDA probably allows a slightly larger amount of rat and insect parts in the cat food. And there's probably more organ meat and gristle in the cat food. Lots of people eat pet food because it's cheaper. A friend of mine ate cat food for a week once. He was house-sitting for friends and had no money. They left a supply of food for the cats but not for their house-sitter. He said it was not very good, but you can survive on it. I don't eat meat, so I've never tried the stuff myself.

I thought "39" was the average age of PriusChatters ...

I'd take you up on that, but my Prius won't drive on water, and my Xebra won't go that far, and even my new car won't make it all the way from Spokane to Adelaide on one charge.

OK I will start with a party joke. Husband and wife had a bitter quarrel on their wedding anniversary! The Husband Yells, " When you die, I'm getting you a headstone that reads, 'Here lies my wife - Cold as ever'!" "Yeah?" she replies. "When you die, I'm getting you a headstone that reads, 'Here lies my husband - Stiff at last'!"
