LOL, no had to sleep in my bed my husband said

The seats are amazing. I got the 4 so it has leather and lumbar and I am really glad I sprung for that. Makes it feel very luxurious, high end and very solid seats. The lumbar is great, played with that. Didnt have a chance to play with the steering wheel adjustment or alot on the seat yet. Got home and posted here quickly then was burned out so had to spend some time with hubby. He was feeling neglected LOL

I have not seen it so I can't be sure. My guess would be that it's actually a clear protectant film for chips from small rocks.

Congratulations, Julie. You must be absolutely thrilled! Is it an absolute certainty that you're the first to actually receive a 2010? What an honor!

Poor hubby must have a hard time competing with a brand new 2010 boootiful Prius!

I was wondering whether you have been able to compare the color with the spectra blue mica. I thought that was a great color and was wondering whether the blue ribbon metallic is similar or brighter, darker, more blue or more purple, etc.

It is on just about every toyota model. It protects the area of the car that is vulnerable to stone chip damage from the front tires.

I am not sure about the spectra. As far as the first, looks like it so far. Maybe jabber can tell us but sure seems that way.

Yes, hubby is so ready for this to be over :)

The blue ribbon and the spectra blue are VERY close. I would say that the blue ribbon is a touch darker. At night, you won't be able to tell the difference. I think I have a blue ribbon coming in very soon. If I do, I'll park it next to a spectra blue and take a pic or two..

Yes, please do if you can! From the pictures I've seen so far, it seems that the blue ribbon is a slightly brighter blue. But without seeing them side-by-side, it's hard to tell.

Gee, I know you are THE FIRST 2010 OWNER IN NORTH AMERICA, but I beg to differ on the interior color. I begged and pleaded for the Misty Grey interior, but I was told the only available interiors with the Blue Ribbon Metallic exterior are Bisque and Dark Grey.

The Toyota folks have preferred the Dark Grey, and I am guessing that is your interior color. It isn't really as "dark" as it sounds.

Still, I would like to have had the Misty Grey. It is a nice look with a two-tone application.

(Mine is coming with Bisque. I have it now and really like the color.)

Oh, but this is only the beginning. You'll be busy washing and waxing, researching upgrades, posting on PriusChat, talking to all your new Prius friends. Then there's the many conventions and local meets. Not to mention the hundreds of people who are their way right now to see your new car. Best not mention any of this to hubby. ;)

I stand corrected. you are right, it is the dark grey. It really isnt that dark though. I would say a medium gray.

Also what I did for the cargo carpet =mat, I turned it over so the rubber backing is on top. Will keep it clean with all the wine and crap I load it up with

Could you take a picture of the interior at night? I don't think any of us knows (other than Danny and the media) how the interior lights look. There are a lot more lights in this new Prius than the current one such as illuminated power window switches, front footwell lighting (when the doors are open only), ambient lighting (the one that shines down on the shifter) and steering wheel buttons (are they still illuminated?)
