I had the Toyota Beige which was just a little lighter for 15yrs in the Nevada sun. It held up nicely but did oxidize. I saw the Sandy Beach on the Camry it looked a lot more bold but it was on a bigger car. You may have put it back in front of Barcelona Red since it does show the swirls and I personally know the beige and beach colors hide much better. Thanks for the pics on the beach. Nothing like a beach. My beach pic is Curacao last Nov.

Camry is Desert Sand, not Sandy Beach.

The new ones at my dealer shown by the saleman were Sandy Beach I checked the sticker. They had the older ones still in the older color too. The new Camry's had Barcelona red too. I spent several minutes looking at all the Prius new colors on their new Camry's.

The color reminds of me of a Lexus GS 400 that I used to own. It was very pretty and got lots of compliments.

    Enjoy your new ride!

My bad, I thought you were talking about 2009. I just checked and toyota.com is finally showing the 2010 Camry and all the new colors. There are some really nice colors now, unlike 2007. light blue, spruce green, aloe, and of course sandy beach, among others.

    Greenbirder,

Now that you have the car, you need to update your profile - no longer that other non-hybrid :D

Here in Australia, most owners go for light coloured cars, so I will stick to my blue - at least it stands out a bit among all the other cars.

We picked our new 2010 Prius IV with Sandy Beach last week. We love the color and have numerous comments about how nice it looks. Thanks for the great pictures.

Nice pictures. Nice timing on the pink bikini!

Back in 06 the only choice in color I had was yours, or white. I took white.

One question. What is the round button on the left front fender just aft of the foglights? I don't remember seeing those before. Thanks for the pics.

The car has ATP right? Then it's the sensor for parking I'd guess.

Whoa, perfect! iphone camera or not, the protocol and conditions are the same. The pics really show the difference between Gen III's Sandy Beach Metallic and Gen II's Driftwood Pearl.

    That's a great comparison!

*sigh* I love the gold color, but I really want a dark gray interior so I'll be going with a different color, just not sure which one is my 2nd fav. :pout:
