    What? Are they serious?

    The Jetta TDI starts at $22,270 MSRP. The Prius starts at $22,000.

    What a load of crap...

    You have to look at the average selling price for both.
    The Prius I at $22K is not available till the end of the year or next year.

    Ok, but it certainly doesn't start at $29,000 like the article seems to indicate.

    I bought my 2008 base model brand new for $21,000.
