How did you find that out? Did you dealer notify you, or do you have access to some search tool?

Thanks :), I'm just so uncertain and I don't have time because I actually need a car so I'm going to have to rent one. That's going to add up. If I was trading a car or had 2 cars I'd be ok.
Ah well I'm looking into other options at the moment.
7 more weeks seems like a long time for a Blue Prius II. That's what I'm getting! :target:
    Great color!

I called up my dealer, well I had my wife call and funny how her call went right through wow was the sales manager upset when he found out it was me on the phone. But he confirmed my status is F and while there is no schedule yet he did give me a Vin#.
I'm not sure why they don't want to look this stuff up for me.
If I had this to do over again I'd buy the car from Jabber over in Chicago and drive it back here. I still might if anything goes wrong with this deal.
Hard to get my deposit back right now...

damack1, the dealer is supposed to have this info in their computer. This is where we are getting it from.

Okay, that's what I thought. When the dealer sent me the spec sheet last week, it was listed as A status. He's supposed to tell me when he gets any news, but I haven't heard anything yet.

I was hoping there was a way I could check for myself without having to pester the salesman. Maybe it's just as well. I'd probably sit here hitting the refresh button every 5 minutes.

The dealer emailed me saying the status changed to "F" and that it will be in on June 5th.

One of the Toyota dealers in Portland has a car rental facility. If you buy a car from the sales department they will credit your purchase price up to $300 of rental costs (you don't even need to rent the same model as you are buying). Might be worth looking into at your dealer.

This is a small dealer, so they don't do things like that. They will give you a loaner car while you have service done if you bought the car from the and I'm good with that. The big thing is they are 40 mins from my house and if I need to leave my car and pick it up I will have a car to drive for the day or to go to the mall if the oil is being changed.
I'll probably use the local rent-a-wreck here as it's much cheaper than Enterprise.
Thing is the rental insurance is required due to the contract. most people never read the rental contracts. If you get in an accient you have to also pay for their loss of a devalued vehicle and no insurance company other than a rental insurance company would honor such a policy of being devalued due to accident.
So if you wreck their car you have to buy them a completely new car as well as reimburse the rental company for the days out of service since they couldn't rent it. That's insane! and ALL our rental companies have that insane policy.
This is why I dislike renting cars or I pay for their overpriced insurance.

    DeadPhish,
I have a question about the info above. My car moved into "F" status early on Saturday. Does this mean that the truckman only has until Tuesday to get the car delivered or is the 72 hour window only apply to business hours? (non-weekends) I was told I would get it by this coming Friday but that sounds like too long based on the info you presented.

I am on this waiting list as well with waiting for it from Port. Car was supposed to have shown up on the 9th, and it is the 16th today with a report I got today that it still hasn't gone to have the accessories I ordered installed. I thought for sure by tomorrow at the latest it would have been heading to the dealer. It's a very short jump up the freeway from Long Beach to Manhattan Beach. Can you tell I am going crazy here? I want my Blizzard V w/AT!! Boo Hoo Hoo!!! Ugh..... Oh well at least it is buying me time to try and sell my trade privately and hopefully be right side up instead of way upside down. Can't wait!!
