Does this sound like an OK deal to you? We did want the nav but around this part of the world (central coast of CA) they said you have to go with a IV to get nav. This would be our first new car and it's scary but very exciting! I hope all goes well.

Does that price include the $750 destination charge as well? If so then it's not bad, the car w/o that bs preferred accessory package should be approx. $23,220. ( I say $23,220 because blizzard pearl is an extra $220 on any model. The Prius III is $23k base.) Then add on the $750 round up to $24k. I'll guess it includes the $750 destination and your paying another $750 for that package...

The wheel locks are $67, the bumper applique is $69 and the VIP alarm is $359. So they are charging you a bit more than what it should be...

I'd do some research on here, get your numbers done to the exact and go back to them. Tell them you'll pay msrp for everything but not a penny more. Here's a chart showing prices for the accessories.

Actually, if the quote includes destination charge of $750, then they're quoting MSRP. The Pref Prem Accessory package (Z1), wich includes floor mats, cargo mat, cargo net, and first aid kit lists for $280.

Be sure to check if they're adding any fees such a doc or dealer fee.

For California, you are getting it at MSRP. I think that at this time it is a good deal. The VIP Plus RS3200, read bumper applique, and the wheel locks (alloy) are port installs. The 24,745.00 does include the designation charges. California taxes, license fee, etc will bring up the cost a little more. I just brought a Prius V w/ATP in San Diego for 33,148.00 which included the designation fee. With taxes, license, etc it cost a little more. I am very happy with my purchase of the Prius V and would make the same purchase again.

Just realized they put JBL audio in the III base model. Classy move.

Seems strange you can't get a III with Nav.

Did you do a build your own with your zip code on toyota.com?

I'll bet you can get a III with Nav. I don't see them just offering a III base only.

All that work for nothing lol Why don't they list what comes with tht pref prem accessory package then? They make it look like it is just the 3 things below it... See, that's the great thing about this site, everyone helps out!

Considering all that, while I don't like things getting tacked on I wouldnt have otherwise wanted, if its MSRP I'd say take the deal it's not a bad one. :)
