Where were you when you got the call?

HAHA, I will let you know as soon as I get the call! =D I might be at BMW, cause I am trying to negotiate a better price selling back to them instead of trading in. I will have to try and get enough to counteract taxes.

 

I am eagerly anticipating my call which will hopefully be early next week... Dianne?? LOL! I was at Disneyland when I got the email from her about my car being in port on the 9th. Hopefully nothing happened to prevent it from coming in on time. I was waiting for a Winter Grey V with AT and dark leather and after talking to her she told me she had a Blizzard Pearl with everything else I wanted coming in. Wasn't expecting it for a couple of weeks and then she surprised me with the email saying it was supposed to be in port the next day which was yesterday. I cannot wait for that call. Just waiting for my deposit from another dealer to be re-credited and then I will be ready to go. Come on port guys, get it going. Get my new baby done and off to the dealer so I can go get her and bring her home!!

 

I was at the dealership, writing out a check for a deposit on a 2010 Prius V w/ATP. The sales manager came to me, saying that a customer that order the same color, package as I am about to order decided to cancel his order. The 2010 Prius was sitting outside of the dealership, all clean and ready to go. They offer the 2010 Prius to me, and without checking the Prius, I said Yes I will take it, and wrote a check for the full amount of the 2010 Prius and torn up the 500 dollars deposit check. The dearlership had it delivery to my house that afternoon. When I drove home from the dealership, the 2010 Prius V w/AT package in Classic Silver Met. exterior/Misty Gray leather interior was sitting in the drive way. That was on May 29th. The next day, I sold my 2007 Prius w/Package 2 to a young mother who brought it for her daughter who will be attending college this fall.

 

And next - did you go buy a lottery ticket????

HI:cheer2: I love making that phone call..most of my Prius customers know what ship and when it hit Port..call themas soon as touches ground here..usually takes about two hours to checked in..stef at koons toyota easton md....:rockon:

 

I got a series of calls from my dealer:
It's comming to the Port.
It's at the Port.
It should be comming over from the Port early next week.
I expect it to arrive from the Port tommorrow morning.

When tomorrow morning came, I could not wait for a call, becuase my sales associate would not be in until 12, so I called and they confirmed my car was there but not sure how soon it would be cleaned. Got it that day, and it was my wife's birthday, yet she still lets me be the primary driver - for now.

 

I got the call from our own DianneWhitmire the moment I returned my leased BMW 330i to the dealer. Seriously, I had just pulled up and stepped out of the car, still so close that my phone still tried to connect to the bluetooth. I wasn't expecting the car to come in that day, so this was a pleasant surprise and, obviously, meant to be.

 

The call? People still use phones?

I was sitting in front of my PC when an email from my dealer came.

 

What call? I just walked in bought one on the spot. Blizzard Pearl, Option IV with Solar Roof package. I got really lucky.

Sorry! When I bought my 2006 Prius I waited 4 months. So, I have felt the pain!

 

Oh wow, no kidding! In 2006! I know I had to wait about a month and a half in 2005. That is a long wait! My '05 came in late because there was an accident with another prius loading on the truck. They notified my dealer and he called me up all worked up saying, "ok don't freak out but your car might need to be in the autobody shop before you get it." can you IMAGINE my surprise, hahaha. Well, it wasn't my car it was another one. whew.

Where was I? I was right here, sitting in front of my desktop reading PriusChat just an hour or two ago, and my dealer called to let me know my Winter Gray III w/ Dark Gray interior will be available for pickup on Tuesday.

 

Just got the 'word' that my III BLUE II is at the dealer!!! I was sitting on the couch during a fantastic thunder storm watching a CD re Sitting Bull. Only three slight problems: 1) Waiting for PenFed to fund my loan application - due within hours I'm told; 2) PenFed then has to FedEx the loan package to me so it will likely arrive Tuesday and perhaps late in the day as Joseph is in remote NE Oregon (7,000 people in the entire county!); 3) I have to find a driver to return my other car (wifes in Buckeye AZ), someone willing to spend four hours on the r/t drive from here to Lewiston, ID. Our nearest Costco is up there so there is shopping to be had and maybe I'll host em to a Red Lobster dinner. Of course, if the Toyota dealer would give me a fair trade-in value this #3 would be solved.

 

Hi. I saw your car this morning sitting at dealers still in all the protective wrap. Looks great. We're getting the same color on our III with the nav pack. Is Kerrie your sales person?
