How many miles were on your 2010 Prius upon delivery?

    I was at the dealer doing paperwork today, and before they ran out to fill'er up, I got a picture of the mileage:

    1 mile!

    Never had that 'new' of a new car before!

    (1) Here's a (fuzzy) close pic showing "ODO 1"
    (2) further away, showing more of the dash
    (3) then me in my 2010 Prius IV, Blizzard Pearl w/Bisque interior.

    It should be bellow 10 if not test driven. If you have one on order you should let your dealer know that you don't want it to be used for test drives. They have no choice but accept it.

    Whenever I've gotten a new car, going back to childhood (my parents cars), there were always a reasonable number of miles on it--say 40 or 50. I always figured that they drove cars around a bit to make sure that they worked before shipping them out. Are you telling me that's not so?

    4 miles. The dealer claimed he had to fight people off who wanted to test drive it before I was able to get in and pick it up. First one picked up from this dealer, so perhaps one of the first in the DC area.

    We were told about a week ago that it was 3-4 weeks away. Then after 2 days, it was 10 days away and we had a VIN. Then 2 more days and it was in. Surprise! And we got the exact color we wanted. Very cool.

    My 2010 had 2 miles on it (who's been driving my car! :p) and the salesman commented that the Prius always come in with lower numbers than the other Toyota models.
