I installed a DVD player in my 2008 Prius!

    What a great install. I'm not sure if it has been mentioned here, (if so, sorry), but someone here (I think), put a MAC MINI in their Prius once. In the same space as you put the DVD player. That seemed really trick to me.

    Anyway, good job.

    Nice Install dude,I don't think the Blue ray would be worth it because you need the in-dash screen to be 1080p to get the full effect out of it.
    Btw, Don't pay mind to that poster calling foul to watching video in the car.He should have been smart enough to allow the possibility that you were using it while parked.Sometimes while I wait for my wife's train I wish I was watching a movie(maybe like Throw Momma from the Train)lol.

    IMO it doesn't matter how old it is as long as the information is helpful to others. Sometimes people stop posting on the forum so I wanted people to know it is an old post in case they were expecting to get answers from the OP. :)

    I've been looking at doing this to mine, but I can't tell if it would work with my car.
    F8L probably knows :p
    It's a 06 without the backup cam or nav...but does have the JBL stereo.
    I've been looking at the lock picks but can't figure out if they'd work with this car.

    I am truly curious: For what purpose does one need a dvd player in the front seat? I can understand having one in the back-seat of family vehicles to entertain passengers. . .
