Hi guys. I'm looking to buy an 07 Touring soon, and came across one with these rims. They're very shiny and chrome-like. I was wondering if these are OEM or aftermarket. I've heard of instances where aftermarket wheels affect the performance/mpg negatively, so wanted to avoid them if so. Please help!

Pretty sure that's a factory touring wheel that has been chromed. There's a shop in your area that does these. Here's an Ebay add for that wheel:

    TOYOTA PRIUS 16" CHROME EXCHANGE WHEELS 2007 - 2009 NEW:eBay Motors (item 140327319839 end time Jul-15-09 16:10:59 PDT)

So they sould be equal to any factory wheel in performance, except that the chrome adds some weight (not sure how much).

He is right. :) The chrome should not affect your overall mileage enough to be very noticable. If you are trying to seriosly max out MPG then I would avoid them.

Aftermarket wheels are generally ok for MPG as long as you don't go any heavier than stock and avoid non-aerodynamic designs.
