    Several items.

    1) The NEW CENTURY 1 should be after the Overseas Joyce

    1) TRACKING TIMES: My dealer today (June 18th) received (3) 2010's from the Andromedia Leader. It docked Sunday afternoon (June 14th) in Newark and he got his cars in West Virginia on Thursday AM. Pretty quick, considering it was docked in Jacksonville around the 12th. That's delivered in 6 days after leaving Jacksonville. Seems like that was way ahead of any schedule I've seen

    2) I cancelled my selection of the Prius IV that was due in his next shipment which I assume is the Overseas Joyce which by now may have finished its business in Jacksonville.

    3) Today, the 18th I got confirmation papers on my Prius V. Unfortunately it's not on the Overseas Joyce, but on the
NEW CENTURY 1. My sales manager found out today while he was in Colorado and called back and had the guys at the dealership call me and email me the papers.

    4) I went over this evening to see the three they got in (Grey II, Silver II and BWhite III).

I was mainly concerned about the "tightness" of the driving position after reading some posts. I'm 6'2", 260#. Not obese but certainly not slim. Call me portly. Anyway with the seat jacked up I had plenty of room between my legs and the steering wheel and plently of headroom. When I lowered the seat to the position I would probably sit in most of the time there was as much room as any car I've owned. The curved console didn't feel bad where my leg would rest. I left the seat in the lowered and pushed back position where I would drive and found that I could sit comfortably in the back. Another concern was the seat itself. I didn't even notice the side bolsters, certainly it was not uncomfortable.

It's incredible space packaging for this much room for 4 adults in a car so small.

I'm looking forward to my Blizzard White V w/ Nav. Anticipating some announcements from you guys when the New Century 1 passes through the Panama Canal

The guys at the dealer are getting a kick out of this but are helpful and cooperative, even looking up ships for the cars not in my order so I could figure out the times between ports.

Wait a minute - how did a car that was on a ship that docked 6/14 get delivered to WV on 6/18? My ship docked 6/10 and I haven't heard a single word about dealer delivery in eastern PA!!

My dealer tried to tell me that cars from that same ship that were delivered to NY & MD days ago were much closer to Newark than I am. I guess he hasn't looked a map lately. Reading, PA is much closer than either of those states. Very disappointed.

I just responded to this on another thread, BUT I stood over the back of the PC while two of them looked up the three cars they got today. I had asked them to look up the ship name so I could get an idea as to delivery times. They said their cars were from the Andromeda Leader.

I had a IV "saved" from their next allotment on what I thought was the Andronmeda but it is actually going to be the Overseas Joyce. It's not due to the dealer until late next week. I changed my order to a V they have alloted to them and I just found out today (and I have the paper on this one) it is on the New Century 1.

They could be wrong, but I don't see how.

Those are Pyxis Leader cars.(but if you saw the printout...) They droped 3 in Morgantown before they got to you. 3 base pkg III's. 2 black 1 silver all dark grey inside. All had "all weather pkg"? all weather floor mats plus $80 for what? Plenty of adjustment to seat and steering wheel. Might even be able to wear my cowboy hat and drive. Center consol controls way closer than they appeared in photo's and video. Easy to reach with out looking. Salesman thinks the underestimated demand for solar pkg. Me too. Try to take one for a spin tomorrow. No preorders for this dealer I was told.

I think the all weather pkg is 5 pc all-weather mats ($199), cargo net ($51) & first aid kit ($29) all for the amazing low price of $279. My dealer tried to tell me that ordering this pkg was a big savings over ordering the mats & cargo net. He apologized for the assumption that it was a great deal & agreed to take the firstaid kit off the bill. Now, I am getting only the things I want.

WelL I am encouraged by the map. It showed the NC1 off the coast of California on 6/8. I would have thought it would have been at or through the canal by now but I have not previously looked at the times for this leg of the trip but I'm sure it doesn't take 11 days

From the way the ships have been arriving up the east coast it would make sence that this one is somewhere near the canal since the Overseas Joyce is at Jacksonville today and the New Century 1 should be 4 to 5 days behind it if the schedule is the same as the previous ships.

My V (yet to be delivered) has the "Preferred Premium Accessory Package Plus" for $329. I'm thinking that's carpeted floor and cargo mats, first aid kit and cargo net. I would have rather simply have the rubber mats as my Dealer is getting them for me anyway.

Well I'll have to wait until Monday and have my sales manager buddy verify that. I did stand there with them but since they looked up a car "number" I have no way of knowing if that truly was the car they just received or if it was a car they are going to receive from the Andromeda Leader later. I was suspicious as the IV I was planning to take was coming on the Andromeda Leader and it did not come in that allotment.

If the cars they received were indeed off the Pyxis then the Andromeda Leader cars should only be about 4 to 5 days behind. That would have also then been 8 days from port to dealer.

They've only had 1 car before this and it should have been off the Kentucky Highway so it would indeed make sence that the next cars were from the Pyxis.

Umm....I need a little help understanding this. It says NC1 is/was roughly due west of Los Angeles on June 8, but due in Panama on June 5? Is that what is says?? And that was 10 days ago - any word on it since?? (I'm invested in this particular ship :p )

Thanks guys and thanks for tracking these ships - I wonder if other car owners-to-be do this?

Yeah, that's what it says. I'm guessing it should be at, close to or even past the Canal by now. Hoping it will pop up soon near Jacksonville! Then I can begin the countdown.

Looking at the SET inventory available dates there shoud be a ship about every 4 days for the next couple of weeks. Ships with prepaid slot times for the Canal go right thru fast no wait. Others may sit for days. Your sailboat=weeks

My dealer seems to be getting his cars fairly quick from the port.

He called me a little bit ago to tell me how pleased he thinks I will be for waiting on the V. There are two factory rep guys there today with a Blue and Sand colored Prius V training the sales people. He's loving the look and handling of the V

He received his allocation last week from the Pyxis, then earlier this week his cars from the Andromeda Leader. His cars from the Overseas Joyce are in F status. Since the New Century 1 is due in port tonight, probably unloaded by AM tomorrow he's thinking there is a chance my car may come in before the holidays.

We've already worked out a deal on how I can drive it home if my Credit Union is closed when it comes in since they take Friday July 3nd off like I will. I couldn't stand it if I had to wait a long weekend to pick it up.

He said the guys drove down to Buckhannon from Morgantown WV. Instead of taking the 4 lane they took the 2 lane (maybe because the NAV messed up???) but they enjoyed the handling of the V and got 51 mph on the trip!

My dealer has no concept of what's going on. But since we are in the Central Atlantic region in a rural area I guess it is common. I was there yesterday and he said their next allocation is the 30th. So at best, Mid July. Asking what ship? Maybe I'll try that if I actually get some positive news.

The ships have been showing up on the east coast pretty quickly now (finally!) Sounds like they are waiting to find your requested vehicle within their allocations. Be patient!! (Or call around to other dealers!) When they know that your car is on its way, your dealer should be able to tell you which ship. Then you join the daffy group here who track the cargo vessels in anticipation of their cars.

If they have your request in to the Central Atlantic Region, they are trying to match up your car with available cars coming in on the ships. My dealer too is small and rural. But within three ships he has been able to match up and obtain an allocation for a Prius V exactly like I want. The IV I originally was to take has already came in.

Your dealer should be able to go onto their computer and see the cars being allocated to them. On that screen shot it will specify what ship it will come on. Then you can track it on these threads as I have been doing. For the CAT region, new ships have been coming in every 4 to 6 days and unloading at Newark.

Has he been getting any at all? My dealer has 4 unsold ones right now on his lot.

I really wouldn't expect dealers to trade at this point unless it's a Prius for a Prius as it may be the only car selling right now.

EDIT: I just noticed you said you're in a rural area (Baltimore???). If you want to see rural come to Buckhannon WV.
