    The "PWR-Mode" is a wakeup call.

    While you debate over modes the only mode that will matter is HIJACK mode from all the roaming pirates. And hypermiling? You won't be doing any miling because your car is not secure. Erosion of tax base = unsafe streets.

    When the bulletproof BMW X5 Security Plus Tank arrives at the dealerships, my 2006 Prius is gone. Its fuel mileage? Who cares.

    There are Prius off of the coast of Somalia? I hope that they don't hijack a RORO full of Priuses.

    BTW, I've been lurking around here for a few weeks. My first Prius (a Blizzard Pearl V with nav) is due in a week or two.

    The company I work for has a maquiladora in Tijuana. When I visit they drive me to the plant in a company owned Level A9 armored Chevy Suburban. The vehicle weight 2,000 lbs more and consumes twice the fuel than a standard Suburban. It is very quite inside and has a great ride.

    You do realize this vehicle is meant for executives, right? The kind of executives that leave behind economic ruin:

    BMW X5 Security Plus

    The central banks state mobility is your only means of survival...lets see...a car that can be disabled by a bb gun but gets great fuel mileage or that BMW Tank that can withstand AK-47 fire....choices, so many choices.
