    It's a shame to see a perfectly good cat thread derailed. Torn apart the way a shark would tear into a hapless swimmer.

    Quote by Daniel;
    Before I went to prison I felt that I wasn't "really" a criminal because I was doing civil disobedience and never tried to escape "capture." One of the things I learned in prison was that not more than one in twenty of the guys I met in prison was "really" a criminal. They had been convicted of breaking some law, usually without harming any person, and usually laws that existed for the sole purpose of keeping the underclass under foot. I was convicted of breaking the laws that protect nuclear weapons from citizen interference.

    How do cats do that. Lay around cuddle up and not have a worry in the world, except when their master is going to put food in their bowls. I am going to come back as a cat in my next life.

    To be reincarnated as a spoiled cat in a loving home, yeah that would be a good life

    Would it be easy to develop a taste for cat food? Do you suppose that is why some cats are finicky eaters? Maybe they are the reincarnated humans who liked pasta and BBQ.

    The dry stuff is pretty nasty. The Friskies Salmon Flavor pate is actually quite tasty, I've had finger food at parties that was way worse

    I think I know why some cats have a taste for beer, in a previous life they enjoyed a brew once in awhile

    For some reason, most cats <5 years are *always* plotting to escape. It's part of their nature. Once they mature, they realize they have it pretty cushy, and you can't coax them out the door no matter what

    We only feed our cat the dry stuff because the vet warned us that she will have dental problems otherwise (smushed face persian). I wouldn't want to eat that stuff. I had a tasty steak and eggs for breakfast.

    Of course they are. I bet if you fed your cat pasta and BBQ, they would not only eat it they would lick their paws afterwards.:rolleyes:

    I've never ran across the BBQ flavor cat food at the store. I think our cat would like the raw mouse flavor best. She is a serial (mouse) killer.

    That is sooooooooooo cute!

    Actually, a U.S. citizen needs a visa before traveling to OZ. Normally, this can be obtained over the internet or through a travel agent. But if you have a criminal record, you have to file a paper application to the Australian embassy, and mail it in, along with your passport. I was not really happy about sending my passport off in the mail, but they were pretty quick about it, and they did grant me a visa. But it was only good for six months, so I will have to apply again next time I want to visit.

    Ah, that explains it

    I've gotten the Friskies on my fingers, and to my surprise - after licking my fingers - it tasted quite good

    I have a fairly strong immune system. I wasn't afraid to sample cat food
