I bought the All-weather floor mats (4) and they are wonderful! OE Toyota, superb quality and appearance, at a great price ($90 incl shipping).

And the 2010 windshield sunshade - wonderful as well! $30 and super quality; very thick material and well constructed. Tried it several times over the weekend and it works great (non solar V).

May try the body side moldings next....

    Keep the new accessories coming....

Where do you store it and does it fold up small. I had a friend that could not get it to go small in the car. Sounds like the shade works well.

Alas. Life is a series of compromises. Same with the windshield solar screen. Large windshield=large sunshade.

It rolls up and has a nice velcro strap. It's made from quite thick material so should last the life of the Prius. As you see in the pictures, roll it up and toss it in the rear footwell. Or the hatch / rear storage area if you carry passengers often. It doesn't seem to be designed to be folded, only rolled up.

I can say that, despite the quality, they won't last the life of the car in all use cases.

I received a Heat Shield for my 2004 as a prize here on PC sometime between 2004-2006. While we still try to use it, the foam within has broken down in some places that causes it to fold and slip away from the windshield. Usually after a while, we find it lying across the dash as it's lost it's rigidity.

Additionally, the velcro strap is simply adhesive glued to the heat shield, and over time, this slips away in the AZ heat and or falls off. If it were stitched to the binding, it would be more durable.

That being said, the heat shield I recieved w/ the 2010 has a somewhat improved strap, but still appears to be glued. Either way, I would expect the foam to start breaking down in a few years in the AZ heat. Despite all that, it's still one of the best heat shields I've found given the exact fit, insulation, and heat rejection.

In more temperate climates, I'd expect it to last the life of the car.

Glad to hear you had a positive experience, DeanFL. And thank you for supporting PriusChat through your purchase!

Just an FYI, the Heatshields have a 3 year warranty in case of any defects. Just call up CanvasWorks 800 number and they'll work with you to get a replacement out.

Typically, how long do items take to reach you? I put an order in yesterday for the All Weather Cargo Mat.

As an example, my all weather mats and windshield screen, about 7 days. Mine shipped UPS.

Can you post how you like the cargo mat once you get it installed? E.G. is there a crease in it to get to the storage compartment and a crease to put up and down the back seats easily, etc.

In fairness, I'm pretty sure the 2004 one is more than 3 years old.

At any rate, the "defect" clearly didn't keep me from buying it again ;)
