Put a deposit on a 2010 Blizzard Pearl Prius trim level IV w/Nav yesterday. Dealer in Greater Boston area said it could be months before we see it(car is for my wife). Just wanted to stop lurking and introduce myself. We have been Lexus owners in the past but my wife is very excited to count herself as a Prius owner. I'll be reading and getting up to speed on this very interesting vehicle. It's nice to see such an active and informed community you have here. For now I think I'll listen and learn, at some point I hope to contribute. Any suggestions as to how to increase the odds of finding the car a bit sooner?
    Thanks,

Yes, I suggest making yourself mobile. If you are willing to travel to buy the car and then drive it back to the Boston area you will not have to wait as long. It would mean airfare plus gas money plus time spent... but you will likely get your car sooner. It's a cost vs. benefit that you will have to weigh yourself.
